Our Solutions

Transforming agricultural, livestock, and industrial waste into sustainable energy and agricultural resources.

The Challenge

Organic waste is one of the most pressing environmental issues of our time. Agricultural, livestock, and industrial by-products, when unmanaged, pose severe environmental risks—polluting water, emitting harmful greenhouse gases, and contributing to the degradation of land. At the same time, these waste streams hold significant untapped potential as a renewable energy source.
Agriculture

Crop residues and livestock waste often end up in landfills, producing methane gas—a potent greenhouse gas (GHG).

Industrial

Waste from food processing and abattoirs is underutilized, creating both environmental and logistical challenges.

Municipal

Unused organic waste from cities is often left to decay, contributing to landfill overflow and increasing carbon footprints.

Our Solutions

Nigeria faces challenges with waste management and energy access. Energia Biologica sees opportunity. We are a catalyst, bringing together investment, technology, and expertise to build innovative waste-to-energy solutions.

Anaerobic Digestion (AD)

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is a natural, biological process in which microorganisms break down organic materials in the absence of oxygen. This process converts organic waste into two valuable outputs:

Biogas:

A renewable energy source primarily made up of methane (CH₄), which can be used for electricity generation, heating, and even as vehicle fuel.

Digestate:

A nutrient-rich organic material that can be used as fertilizer, enhancing soil health and reducing the need for chemical fertilizers.
